Describe physical, intellectual, emotional and social development for each of the life stages of an individual

Conception and pregnancy

Hasmita and her husband Ali decided to start a family. You are the midwife at the couple’s local GP and you need to give Hasmita advice on how to stay healthy and help Hasmita through her pregnancy. Please advise Hasmita on the physical needs of the growing foetus.

Birth and Infancy

Sally is 18 months old. You are working as a nursery nurse and need to discuss Sally’s development with her parents. Please advise Sally’s parents on the expected developmental norms and milestones for Sally’s age. Use the following headings:
