Nature relates to the way we are born, our genetic endowment and biological capabilities. (R.A. Mossler (2009).Nature is your genes. The physical and personality traits determined by your genes stay the same irrespective of where you were born and raised.An example in my family of nature would be I have brown hair brown eyes; my mother, grandmother and great grandmother all had the same. My daughters also have the same traits. My grandparents were diagnosed with heart issues and high blood pressure as were my mother and I. Nurture Nurture refers to how you were brought up. Someone could be born with genes to give them a normal height, but not get the nourishment needed in childhood, which would result in failure to develop as expected. This is where I think that some of the disease people pass down could be altered, in a sense. For example my high blood pressure. My parents and grandparents were diagnosed with this, but with a few changes to daily diet and exercise the high blood pressure could be limited. There are circumstances which limit the possibility of change. If you do not have the resources to eat healthier or the ability to go to a gym you might not be able to change these things. Another example would be my mother taught me to have manners. She instilled values in me and I continue to pass them to my children.
